5 Days SR – 1500 KM in 120 Hours Name itself gets you the clue with Super Randonneur in 5 Days Super Randonneur - This title is earned by completing 200 km, 300 km, 400 km, and 600 km cycling in an Audax Calendar Year i.e from November to October First in North Karnataka for the very first time Hubballi Bicycle Club under the Chairmanship of Prasanna Joshi and Secretary Shivanand Dandavatimath conducted this 5 Days SR Event and post event 6 months prior planning about this Event was done by BRM Event Convenor Shettappa Pirangi and all the Core Members of Hubballi Bicycle Club. 5 Days SR is completing 1500 KM in 120 Hours which includes 200 KM 300 KM 400 Km and 600 KM Rides. 5 Days SR Event Convenor was Er Gulzar Ahmed Kudos to him along with Siddalingappa Kuballi who took this Event and raised the bars of Hubballi Bicycle Club to the next level. Lots of preparation with respect to the same was done since they had to take care of the route, hotels and hydration for the rides. 5 Days SR – Game Plan 17th January 2023 – 600 KM ( Time Duration was 40 Hours) 19th January 2023 – 300 KM ( Time Duration was 20 Hours) 20th January 2023 – 200 KM ( Time Duration was 13.5 Hours) 21st January 2023 – 400 KM ( Time Duration was 27 Hours) 5 Days SR - Total 54 Participants

600 BRM 14 Registered - 11 Completed 3 DNS 300 BRM 13 Registered - 12 Completed 1 DNS 200 BRM 16 Registered - 14 Completed 2 DNS 400 BRM 11 Registered - 8 Completed 3 DNS 5 Days SR Event started on 17th January 2023 with 14 Riders registering for 600 KM Ride. Ride Responsible for this was Manjunath Budappannavar along with Ramesh Siddannavar Route was Start Point Kittur Rani Chennamma Circle, Hubli - Reva Petroleum Indian Oil and gas, Koppal - Shri Panchamuki Petroleum Service Station, Kudligi - Hiriyur - Hotel Sai Palace (U turn) (Selfie Point) - Hotel Jai Hind Dhaba, Chitradurga (Opp. to Sarvoda - Kamat Aahar Veg, Ranebennur (Besides Bharat Petrol - Bankapur Toll (Selfie) - Kittur Rani Chennamma Circle, Hubballi (End Point) Riders from Bangalore, Hubballi , Mysuru, Belagavi, Sangli and Goa were part of this event. 5:30 am was the Reporting Time of the riders and 6:00 am was the Flag Off. Bike Check was done where the riders need to have front and rear light, reflective jacket and helmet without which they will not be allowed to ride. Upon signing the disclaimer form Brevet cards were handed across to the riders which they need to get the manned control point stamped at the specified location which will be mentioned in that Brevet Card. There will be a time duration also specified in the Brevet card where riders need to report between those timings failing to do so will be disqualified from the event. Beautiful Route selection was done by Er Gulzar Ahmed along with Shettappa Pirangi and Karthik Irappanavar. Riders had to face the Chillness in the morning where the temperature dipped to 13 ° C and in the afternoon they had to face around 35 ° C. Route was a flat with less elevation but challenge was head wind which they luckily did not face. Some cross winds here and they had to overcome. Drop Bag facility was at Ranjit Hotel Hiriyur where riders had option to change their jersey, shots and get some rest. Shettappa Pirangi completed this ride in 33 Hours and he was in Hubli at the end point around 15:00 hours on 18th January 2023 and then the rest riders started coming to the end point and completed the ride. Riders had to get their brevet card stamped and sign in the last control sheet. End point photo shoot in front of the Flyer was taken and riders went to their rooms since they had to get ready for the next day ride which was 300 KM and start time was 4:00 am. Thanks to Manjunath Budappannavar and Ramesh Siddannavar for being on the route for 2 days since they were managing the manned control points and they had to cross check from the first rider to the last if they had crossed the CP or not. 300 BRM – Started on 19th January 2023 with 12 riders registering for this event Ride Responsible for this was Vinay Mulgund along with Prasanna Joshi Route was Start Point Kittur Rani Chennamma Circle, Hubli - Naragund Bus Stand (Selfie Point) - Gaddankeri cross - Indian Oil Petrol bunk (Manned - Kolhar - Indian Oil Pump U Turn (Selfie Point) - Kulageri Cross - Bus Stand (Manned) - Navalgund Bus Stand (Selfie Point) - Kittur Rani Chennamma Circle, Hubballi (End Point) Riders from Bangalore, Belagavi, Hubballi and Goa were part of this event. 3:30 am was the Reporting Time of the riders and 4:00 am was the Flag Off. Bike Check was done where the riders need to have front and rear light, reflective jacket and helmet without which they will not be allowed to ride. Upon signing the disclaimer form Brevet cards were handed across to the riders which they need to get the manned control point stamped at the specified location which will be mentioned in that Brevet Card. There will be a time duration also specified in the Brevet card where riders need to report between those timings failing to do so will be disqualified from the event. Beautiful Route selection was done by Er Gulzar Ahmed along with Shettappa Pirangi and Karthik Irappanavar. Climate was not that chill compared to on 17th January 2023 Shahid PS completed this ride in 16 Hours 6 mintues and he was in Hubli at the end point on 19th January 2023 and then the rest riders started coming to the end point and completed the ride. Riders had to get their brevet card stamped and sign in the last control sheet. End point photo shoot in front of the Flyer was taken and riders went to their rooms since they had to get ready for the next day ride which was 200 KM and start time was again 4:00 am. Thanks to Vinay Mulgund and Prasanna Joshi for being on the route, they were managing the manned control points and they had to cross check from the first rider to the last if they had crossed the CP or not. 200 BRM – Started on 20th January 2023 with 14 riders registering for this event Ride Responsible for this was Ajay Bongale, Shivanand Dandavatimath along with Prasanna Joshi Route was Start Point Kittur Rani Chennamma Circle, Hubli - Hulkoti - Indian Oil Petrol Pump (Selfie) - Talakal Bus Stand (Manned) (U-Turn) - Hulkoti - Engineering College (Selfie) - Kittur Rani Chennamma Circle, Hubballi (End Point) Riders from Bangalore, Belagavi , Hubballi and Goa were part of this event. 3:30 am was the Reporting Time of the riders and 4:00 am was the Flag Off. Bike Check was done where the riders need to have front and rear light, reflective jacket and helmet without which they will not be allowed to ride. Upon signing the disclaimer form Brevet cards were handed across to the riders which they need to get the manned control point stamped at the specified location which will be mentioned in that Brevet Card. There will be a time duration also specified in the Brevet card where riders need to report between those timings failing to do so will be disqualified from the event. Beautiful Route selection was done by Er Gulzar Ahmed along with Shettappa Pirangi and Karthik Irappanavar. Climate was cold compared to 19th January 2023. Francisco Nazareth completed this ride in 8 Hours and he was in Hubli at 12:00 Hours at the end point on 20th January 2023 and then the rest riders started coming to the end point and completed the ride. Riders had to face some traffic issues since the end point was a centre point to all the routes. Riders had to get their brevet card stamped and sign in the last control sheet. End point photo shoot in front of the Flyer was taken and riders went to their rooms since they had to get ready for the next day ride which was 400 KM and start time was 3:00 am an hour earlier than other 2 rides. Thanks to Ajay Bongale, Shivanand Dandavatimath and Prasanna Joshi for being on the route, they were managing the manned control points and they had to cross check from the first rider to the last if they had crossed the CP or not. Finally the last day of the 5 Days SR which was 400 KM ride was on 21st January 2023 and end of this 5 Days SR Series of this year of Hubballi Bicycle Club. 400 BRM – Started on 21th January 2023 with 11 riders registering for this event Ride Responsible for this was Prof Satish Annigeri along with Karthik Irappannavar Route was Start Point Kittur Rani Chennamma Circle, Hubli - Gaddankeri cross - Indian Oil Petrol bunk (Selfie - Vijaypur - HP Petrol Pump - Hundekar Fuels (U-Turn - Kulageri Cross Bus Stand - Navalgund Bus Stand - Kittur Rani Chennamma Circle, Hubballi End Point Riders from Bangalore, Belagavi, Goa and Hubballi were part if this event. 2:30 am was the Reporting Time of the riders and 3:00 am was the Flag Off. Bike Check was done where the riders need to have front and rear light, reflective jacket and helmet without which they will not be allowed to ride. Upon signing the disclaimer form Brevet cards were handed across to the riders which they need to get the manned control point stamped at the specified location which will be mentioned in that Brevet Card. There will be a time duration also specified in the Brevet card where riders need to report between those timings failing to do so will be disqualified from the event. Beautiful Route selection was done by Er Gulzar Ahmed along with Shettappa Pirangi and Karthik Irappanavar. Climate was colder compared to 20th January 2023. Srinivas Kattirichetty completed this ride in 25 Hours 14 Minutes and he was in Hubli at 4:14 Hours at the end point on 22th January 2023 and then the rest riders started coming to the end point and completed the ride. Riders had to get their brevet card stamped and sign in the last control sheet. Hot Soup and Maggie was prepared by Shivanand Dandavatimath at the end point for the riders. Bread, Butter Jam, Mayonnaise, Peatnut paste was kept for the riders. Thanks to Prof Satish Annigeri and Karthik Irappannavar for being on the route, they were managing the manned control points and they had to cross check from the first rider to the last if they had crossed the CP or not. End point photo shoot in front of the Flyer was taken and a small celebration for the Fantastic 5 Days SR Finishers was honored with Shawl, Garland and Maharaja Cap along with Dharwad Peda by the Organizing Team of Hubballi Bicycle Club. Thanks Audax India for giving an opportunity for Hubballi Bicycle Club for this 5 Days SR Event. Special Thanks to the Core Members of Hubballi Bicycle Club and BRM Organizing Team for getting one more Bench Mark for Hubballi Bicycle Club with the smooth execution of this 5 Days SR Event.
