Rules Subject to change without prior notice at the organisers discretion
 

1. Ride Sensibly: Participants must ride sensibly and legally at all times, considering other riders and users of the route, including walkers, horse riders, families with children, and dogs.
2. Responsibility: Participants are fully responsible for their actions during the event, including on the premises and during the ride. HBC is not liable for participants' actions or their consequences.
3. Minor Riders: Riders under 18 must have a completed consent form signed by a parent or guardian. Riders under 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the ride.
4. Sign-On Requirement: All riders must sign in at the event HQ at least 10 minutes before the event starts.
5. Repatriation Costs: Participants are responsible for any fees or costs arising from repatriation needs.
6. Trail Safety: Warning signs will be placed on trails or roads. Absence of signs does not mean there are no dangers. Participants must make their own decisions regarding whether to ride or walk.
7. Route Changes: HBC reserves the right to shorten or alter the route. Participants are not entitled to a refund if the route changes.
8. Liability: HBC is not liable for any accident, damage, theft, injury, or illness to participants, spectators, or property. Participants agree that no liability shall attach to HBC, its members, landowners, event officials, volunteers, or sponsors.
9. Media Consent: By participating, you consent to being filmed/photographed and allow HBC and its sponsors to use your image for publicity purposes in any media worldwide.
10. Reporting to Finish: All riders must report to the finish, even if they retire from the event. Failure to do so may result in a search, with costs billed to the rider.
11. Entry Fees: Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.
12. Event Cancellation: HBC reserves the right to cancel events due to factors beyond its control. Entries will be moved to a rescheduled event or another HBC event of equal or lower value within six months. No refunds will be issued.
13. Health and Fitness: Riders affirm they are in good health and physically and mentally fit to participate in the event. The ride may involve significant physical exertion.
14. Waiver Acknowledgment: By registering, riders acknowledge they have read, understood, and agree to this waiver of liability.
15. Night Riding Requirements: For night rides, bicycles must have fully functional front and rear lights and riders must wear a reflective vest. Non-compliance will result in not being permitted to start.
16. Publicity: By registering, riders consent to the possible publication of their name, results, and photographs for publicity purposes.
17. Feedback and Jurisdiction: Complaints, suggestions, queries, or feedback should be directed to the organizing committee and club chairman. All matters are subject to Hubballi jurisdiction.

By participating, you agree to all the above conditions.

 

Guidelines:
 

• Participants must follow and adhere to all prevailing COVID-19 guidelines/Government Rules (GR) that the Government of India or the respective State Government/s enforce with regards to public lockdown social distancing public gathering etc. The Event promoters/their employees/Event Sponsors/Event Partners/their associates will not be responsible for actions or the consequences arising out of participant’s failure to follow any such guidelines/GR.

• Do not participate if you have any medical disabilities. Event organizers/promoters are not responsible for your health and safety.

• Event promoters will not be held responsible for any discrepancy/ error in activity data collected from the suggested apps/method of auto integration or failure to receive activity data from the suggested apps from the participant for any reason.
